Yes. Everything we link to is OpenAI’s own free material — the OpenAI Academy, documentation, the Cookbook, and the Agents SDK. Some products (like ChatGPT Plus or paid API usage) have their own pricing, but the learning resources are free.
ChatGPT is the consumer product — a conversational interface anyone can use immediately. The OpenAI API is the developer platform for building AI into your own applications, with control over model behaviour, pricing, and integration. Start with ChatGPT, then move to the API when you’re building.
